• LED lighting to new way to light your home or office save $$$$$$ on your power bills by converting your existing lighting to LED by either changing existing globes to LED equivalents or converting to new dedicated LED lights. Did you know that your existing halogen 12 volt downlights are very power hungry most of the power consumed goes into heat and not light, these lights are responsible for many roof fires in not installed correctly due to the excessive heat generated. Each halogen downlight light is rated at 50 watts and lasts typically around 2000 hours. An LED equivalent would be rated at around 12 to 14 watts (in some cases even lower) and typically lasts around 50000 hours. By converting to LED you would not only reduce your power consumption but also reduce your maintenance costs, payback would normally be around 2 years.
